Carson Mead’s Story

My real estate journey began in 2004 when I bought my first home in NE Portland. That milestone sparked a lifelong passion for housing systems, leading me to complete a year-long Building Construction program. Because of this, I love exploring basements to evaluate a home's plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and foundation. While I always recommend a professional inspector, I aim to provide thorough up-front due diligence before you even enter a contract.

Ultimately, my goal is to meet you wherever you are. If you are selling, I’ll develop a strategy tailored to your goals and timeline—whether that means maximizing profit through strategic updates (like painting or staging) or navigating the logistics of living in your home while it's on the market. I love working with buyers, and I’m passionate about helping first time home buyers as well. Rest assured that regardless of your experience level in purchasing, I’ll be with you every step of the way - from our first meeting talking about your priorities, to the day you get keys and beyond.

I also specialize in Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). Having built my own ADU and completed a lot partition, I know how to evaluate a property’s lot orientation, zoning, and basement potential for attached or detached units.

As a cooperatively focused broker, I am patient, trustworthy, and dedicated to your best interests. Being a father of two has taught me the fine art of juggling life's curveballs, ensuring a cool and collected experience for my clients. I also hold a B.S. in Climate Change, which fuels my passion for the environment. When I'm not working, you can find me exploring local coffee shops, riding my electric bike with my kids, listening to KEXP, or tackling my home's to-do list.
